Tribune Media Names James Arestia as Director of Investor Relations
CHICAGO, July 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribune Media Company (NYSE: TRCO) today named James Arestia as Director/Investor Relations, responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the company's relationships with investors and analysts. Arestia will report to Tribune Media's Chief Financial Officer, Chandler Bigelow, and begin his new duties immediately.
Arestia has had an extensive career in financial planning, analysis and reporting at publicly held companies. He joins Tribune Media from Markit, a leading global provider of financial services, where he served as Vice President of Investor Relations. Arestia was responsible for a wide variety of aspects of Markit's quarterly earnings process and ongoing communication with investors and analysts. He also played an important strategic role in the communication of the company's recently announced merger with IHS.

Prior to joining Markit in 2015, Arestia served as Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis with Tudor Investment Corporation. From 2010 to 2014, Arestia held a variety of positions in financial reporting and analysis with American Express.
