Tribune Broadcasting Elevates Paul Perozeni To Vice President And General Manager Of WJW In Cleveland
CLEVELAND, June 9, 2104 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribune Broadcasting today announced the appointment of Paul Perozeni as Vice President & General Manager of WJW FOX 8 in Cleveland, one of the strongest FOX affiliates in the country. Perozeni's promotion is effective immediately and he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the station, including strategic planning and day-to-day operations. He will report to Lynda King, COO, Tribune Broadcasting.
Perozeni joined WJW in 1999 as the National Sales Manager and was quickly elevated to Vice President/General Sales Manager, a position he held for 13 years. During his tenure as VP/GSM, Perozeni was responsible for the sales management and revenue for the station and its digital properties. Under his leadership, WJW increased market share, maximized the development of new business and consistently exceeded revenue goals.

Prior to joining WJW, Perozeni held sales executive positions at Petry Television, where he represented 120 television stations. Previously Perozeni was an account executive at WUAB in Cleveland. He began his career in media as a newsbreak announcer and board engineer at WCLV-FM in Cleveland.

Perozeni holds a Masters in Communications Management from John Carroll University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Akron, where he graduated with honors. While an undergrad, Perozeni was selected for a prestigious national ITRS fellowship.
Perozeni currently serves as an adjunct professor at John Carroll University and Cuyahoga Community College where he teaches Journalism and Mass Communications.
