TRIANNI sponsors The Werner Müller Award for Excellence in Immunology
SAN FRANCISCO and BERLIN, Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Trianni, Inc. ("TRIANNI") announced that it will sponsor the Werner Müller Award, which will be administrated by The German Society for Immunology (DGfi).
The Werner Müller Award will be awarded to postdocs for their achievements in the field of immunology that can be of benefit for the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of diseases of countries of the developing world. The award is named after Werner Müller, a pioneer involved in the development of the first humanized antibody producing mouse strain, along with countless other transgenic mice used all over the world. He is a founding member of the IMGT database and holds the Bill Ford Chair of Cellular Immunology at the university of Manchester UK.

The DGfI was founded in 1967 and has more than 2,300 members studying or working in basic and/or clinical immunology. The scientific activities of members are organized in 13 research focus groups.
