Trial Lawyers Thomas R. Kline and Robert J. Mongeluzzi Statement On The Latest in Amtrak Train 188 Case
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Trial attorneys Thomas R. Kline and Robert J. Mongeluzzi today said the victims of Amtrak 188 are gratified to see the Pennsylvania Attorney General's appeal of a ruling which we believe to have been fundamentally flawed given the standard for a preliminary hearing and the facts and circumstances of Mr. Bostian, the Engineer, operating a train at 106 miles an hour in a 50 mile-an-hour zone, which caused so much human devastation and death.
Mr. Kline, of Kline & Specter, PC, and Mr. Mongeluzzi, of Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky, PC, said that on behalf of Blair Berman, who courageously testified at the preliminary hearing, as well as the Jacobs and Gildersleeve families, it is welcome news that the Attorney General has decided to further pursue full accountability of Mr. Bostian, which they, as victims, have all urged throughout the criminal justice process.
