Trial Attorneys Tom Kline and Robert Mongeluzzi on Today's NTSB-Amtrak Train #89 Incident Investigation Findings

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Trial attorneys Thomas R. Kline, of Kline & Specter, PC, and Robert J. Mongeluzzi, of Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky, P.C., stated the following regarding the NTSB session today on the June 2016 Amtrak Train #89 fatal incident near Chester, PA in which two track workers were killed. The firms jointly represent the family of the late Joseph Carter, Jr., one of the workers.

Mr. Kline said, "Tragically, but predictably, the NTSB directly linked systemic failures at Amtrak to the tragic death of Joe Carter, whose life was senselessly lost in this tragedy. We can only hope that the death of Mr. Carter will result in wholesale changes in not only the systems, but the culture of safety at Amtrak."
