Tri Global Energy Appoints Thomas M. Carbone as President; Renewable Energy Firm Positions Itself for Growth, Industry Leadership
DALLAS, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas M. Carbone has been appointed president of Tri Global Energy, a renewable energy project developer and operator with fifteen utility-scale wind farms under development in the Southwest. Carbone will also serve on Tri Global Energy's board of directors.
According to CEO and board chair John Billingsley, "Tom is an energy industry veteran who brings substantial financial, operational and leadership experience to our firm. Tom will help us move aggressively to prepare several of our projects for commercial operations in 2012 and 2013."

With nearly 30 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, Carbone has served as the CEO of Nordic Windpower, a U.S.-based manufacturer of innovative, utility-scale wind turbines, and president of the Americas division of Vestas Wind Systems, the world's leading provider of wind turbines, among others. His career includes project development and project financing of power generation facilities in the U.S., Central America and Asia.
He is a graduate of Cornell University, College of Engineering.
