Trevor Moore, of the Leo Pareja Team, Joins Compass
Former Top Agent in the World at Keller Williams, Leo Pareja, leaves retail real estate and transitions business to Moore
WASHINGTON, Jan. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Compass, a technology-driven real estate platform, is proud to announce that Trevor Moore has joined Compass - bringing the Leo Pareja business along with him to Compass.
In 2004, Moore began his real estate career in Las Vegas and Phoenix before moving to Virginia in 2009 to work with Leo Pareja team at Keller Williams. Moore worked directly with Pareja, a super-agent of the industry, for more than 7 years. With a background in construction, contractor management and repairs, Moore understands the diversity of the D.C. Metro area market and focuses on residential and development clients.
Pareja, a 15-year veteran in the real estate industry, was named the No. 1 Keller Williams Agent in the world in 2010, No. 1 agent on the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professional's "Top 250" and was named to Realtor Magazine's "30 Under 30."
As Pareja stepped away from the business in 2016 to focus on developing Remine, a real estate technology company, Moore became team lead and the face of the company before acquiring the business in January of 2017.
Robert Reffkin, CEO of Compass said that he's excited for Trevor to join Compass. "We look forward to helping him continue to grow and expand his business," said Reffkin.
"We are thrilled for Trevor to acquire Leo Pareja's business and we are very pleased for Trevor and his team to be joining Compass. We are working to create the best agent experience in the market, and agents of Trevor's caliber joining Compass is a great validation of that," said Jesse Sander, regional vice president of Compass.
When discussing why he wanted to move to Compass, Moore stated that it was Compass' myopic focus on technology and their emphasis on agent culture that confirmed his decision. "I couldn't be happier to bring my developers and all my clients along for this new chapter."
Compass was co-founded by Ori Allon, a technology entrepreneur who has previously sold companies to Twitter and Google; and Robert Reffkin, who previously worked at McKinsey, the White House, and Goldman Sachs in private equity and most recently as Chief of Staff to the President & COO.
