CUPERTINO, Calif., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Trend Micro, a global leader in Internet content security, today announced the results of an in-depth, independent lab test of two endpoint data loss prevention solutions: Trend Micro DLP for Endpoint v.5 and McAfee™ Host Data Loss Prevention v.3. Symantec and Websense declined to participate in the test.

The test was conducted by The Tolly Group, a premier independent IT test lab, and focused on the ability of each solution to define and protect sensitive data and intellectual property across a variety of threat vectors. Ease-of-use and the ability to leverage the DLP solutions to address regulatory compliance were also evaluated.
