Trend Micro Deep Security 8 Certified for VCE Vblock Infrastructure Platforms
New certification delivers channel-ready solution leveraging Trend Micro Deep Security, the industry's first agentless security platform.
CUPERTINO, Calif., April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704;TSE: 4704), a global virtualization and cloud security leader, today announced it is now part of the VCE independent software vendors (ISV) program and that Trend Micro Deep Security has been certified on the VCE™ Vblock™ infrastructure platform. Trend Micro Deep Security is the industry's first agentless security platform that unlocks virtual machine performance, and this certification enables workloads to be deployed effectively with VCE's optimized cloud infrastructure, while meeting compliance and governance requirements.
The certification will also enable mutual channel partners and customers to accelerate the evolution and innovation of solutions that will achieve increased consolidation, ease of management, comprehensive virtualization security, and increased ROI with Trend Micro Deep Security for Vblock Infrastructure Platforms. VCE Vblock Infrastructure Platforms combine industry-leading technologies from Cisco, EMC, and VMware to deliver a pre-configured, rapidly deployable, converged infrastructure for cloud computing.
