A two-decade hospitality industry veteran, Blaker comes to the Baltimore, Maryland hotel business with extensive food, beverage, and operations service experience. Prior to joining the hotel, Blaker served as the Food and Beverage Director at various five-star luxury resorts including: Viceroy Anguilla Resort in the British West Indies, the Boca Raton Resort and Club, the Tides Hotel in South Beach, and the four-diamond Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine, Florida. Blaker's educational background includes degrees in Marketing and Business at New York University and Flagler College. His extensive experience enables him to work closely with the Tremont Plaza Hotel's extensive culinary team, including Pastry Chef Kevin Schueing and Banquet Chef Oliver Henry. Blaker will oversee the day-to-day culinary operations of the banquet team, as well as the three onsite dining outlets.
