With biking becoming a popular form of transportation, this timely discussion will address the positive impact bikes have on wellness. Son of Trek's Co-founder and Chairman, John Burke became President of the corporation in 1997. Burke began his career at Trek in 1984 packaging orders before moving up the ladder to sales and then eventually to a customer service position. Burke now heads the company. Outside of Trek, he is a founding member of the Bikes Belong Coalition and also served as chairman of President George W. Bush's President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
