Helps Air Canada Deliver a More Connected, Flexible Experience for Business Travelers
ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) today announced that Air Canada, Canada's largest airline, has selected Traverse to support direct booking for corporate travelers through its digital channels. Traverse will support Air Canada Embarq, a new self-service business travel platform designed for Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises and nonprofit organizations.
By partnering with Traverse, Air Canada Embarq gives business travelers the convenience of booking directly while enabling their companies to track spend and access corporate program benefits. In the future, companies will also be able to use corporate forms of payment and apply their travel policies to direct bookings with Air Canada. Traverse supports direct booking in both managed and unmanaged corporate travel environments, helping companies maintain visibility into business travel regardless of how their employees' trips are booked and managed.
"Direct booking can be an important part of an omnichannel travel program, without sacrificing the visibility and controls businesses need," said Chuck Fischer, Chief Airline Retailing Officer at ARC. "Traverse gives Air Canada the flexibility to connect the direct booking experience with the insights corporate travel programs rely on."
"At Air Canada, we're focused on making business travel more efficient and rewarding for our customers," said Francois Choquette, Head of Global Sales at Air Canada. "We value the Traverse team's partnership in helping us deliver a more flexible experience for business travelers and their companies."
Air Canada joins Aeromexico, Alaska Airlines/Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Choice Hotels, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and WestJet among travel brands using Traverse solutions.
