Travelocity Prepares For Colombia's Medellin Flower Fair

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Oct. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This week, Travelocity's new Let's Roam Colombia with Avianca web series, is roaming high into the hills of the magical farming town of Santa Elena near Medellin.  In this episode, host Courtney Scott helps famous silleteros (flower farmers) from the Londoño family prepare for the annual Medellin Flower Fair.  She learns the tradition of making silletas; wooden structures that are filled with beautiful flowers and used since the Colonial times past to carry products and even people up and down the mountains.
