While OAT's African safari itineraries vary, each operates in small groups of just 10-16 travelers and is led by an expert, local Trip Leader who has in-depth knowledge of the area.  Travelers will experience Africa's stunning landscapes and legendary wildlife and will also engage with locals in their homes, schools, and villages, learning firsthand about the cultures, customs, and ways of life of Southern Africa.
