NEW YORK, Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaiam, Inc., a leading producer of lifestyle media, announces today the release of Travel Channel's Emmy Award-winning series Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Collection 6 Part 1 under its exclusive home video license agreement with Travel Channel.
In this new season of the critically-acclaimed series, Anthony continues his culinary explorations of the world, encountering the weird, wild, and downright outrageous personalities and places that help define the international cultural landscape. Through his travels, Anthony introduces viewers to cuisines they may never have experienced or even knew existed.
Anthony makes no reservations in this season and goes "Caribbean Island Hopping," where he scuba-dives, fishes and hunts for local delicacies to sample. He also arrives in the dead of winter in Harbin, China, a season that defines the Dongbei people and the nature of their cuisine. The adventure continues onward to Panama, Instanbul and Prague in addition to other destinations where Anthony finds and introduces his palate to new and authentic dishes.
Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Collection 6 Part 1 arrives just in time for the holidays and includes bonus features including: Burning Questions, a Techniques Special, and a Holiday Special.
