Corporate Communications Specialist to Support Growing Multi-Market Business

CHICAGO, May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Transwestern today announces Monica Sparreo has joined the firm as marketing director – tenant advisory services. Based in Chicago, Sparreo will focus on developing and executing a comprehensive tenant advisory marketing program that leverages the firm's strong reputation and global platform. She will provide professionals in the firm's 34 U.S. offices with resources that will allow them to most effectively serve existing clients and win new business.

Bringing 17 years of commercial real estate experience to her new role, Sparreo joins the firm from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, where she served as director of internal communications and marketing following Newmark's merger with Grubb & Ellis Company. Previously, as director of corporate communications for Grubb & Ellis, she played a key role in brand development; supported the launch and growth of multiple service lines; created strategic communication programs for the transaction services, property management and valuation businesses; and raised the profile of the company's research services and sustainability offerings. Earlier in her career, Sparreo led marketing efforts for Deloitte's national real estate consulting practice.
