Transwestern Continues To Expand Its Tenant Advisory Platform With Third Senior-Level Recruit
Bob Robers and Michael Kotzin Join Atlanta Office as Senior Vice Presidents
ATLANTA, Jan. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Transwestern's Atlanta office today announced the expansion of its Southeast tenant advisory services group with the addition of Senior Vice Presidents Bob Robers and Michael Kotzin. Transwestern Southeast has brought on three senior-level recruits in the past month, including commercial real estate veteran Bo Jackson, who joined Transwestern as managing director and partner on January 2.
Robers will specialize in tenant representation, providing expertise in sales, leasing and disposition. He will also provide consulting services for supply chain and site selection for manufacturing, distribution and logistics firms.
"Transwestern continues to make strides in its recruiting efforts to bolster its rapidly growing advisory services operations," said Transwestern's Bruce Ford, president, Southeast. "Bob's background and experience will undoubtedly contribute to our long-term growth and the caliber of service we deliver to our clients. Bob's specialized focus on supply chain and logistics across the country is widely recognized and fits well with Transwestern's focus in key markets."
Prior to joining Transwestern, Robers served as vice president for Jones Lang LaSalle's Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions team, where he specialized in bulk distribution, railroad and port-related real estate projects. Throughout his career, he has represented major retailers, manufacturers and logistics services firms.
Kotzin will focus on providing real estate strategies and consulting services for Transwestern's legal and corporate clients based in the Southeast and across the nation.
"Mike is a top-ranked producer and a highly respected professional in the commercial real estate industry who will play an important role at Transwestern," said Ford. "Mike provides his clients with critical analytical data and a process that ensures maximum value in their commercial real estate decision making."
Prior to joining Transwestern, Kotzin served as senior managing director for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank where he specialized in strategic planning, acquisition, disposition and lease restructuring services. Over the past decade, he has served a diverse client base, and his strong performance in both the Atlanta and South Florida markets has earned him notable accolades over the years, including multiple Transaction of the Year awards and consistent CoStar "Power Broker" honors.
