Transwestern Continues Rapid Northeast Expansion With First Healthcare Specialist, Ken Findley
NEW YORK, May 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Transwestern's New York office today announced that Ken Findley has joined the firm as managing director. Findley will represent both tenants and landlords in the New York City area, debuting the office's ability to provide specialized services to healthcare clients. Since Transwestern entered the Northeast in 2011, the firm has experienced explosive growth, now boasting a total of 50 team members, a management portfolio of nearly 3 million square feet and a leasing portfolio of 1.1 million square feet in the Tri-State area.

Throughout his career, Findley has completed over 600,000 square feet of transactions totaling more than $286 million. He joins the firm from ABS Real Estate Partners where he served as managing director/director of medical leasing. In this role, he managed a team that specialized in representing tenants in the procurement and disposition of large medical and office space. He also represented numerous landlords in office space leasing and supervision of property management services.
Throughout his career, Findley has represented many notable healthcare tenants such as Gramercy Surgery, Gramercy Park Digestive Disease, Frontier Health Holdings and Physicians Endoscopy. His leasing assignments have included several well-known New York City buildings, including 200 Park Avenue South, 380 Second Avenue, 10 East 38th Street and 305 Second Avenue. His landlord lease transactions have included tenants such as NYU Hospitals, Elizabeth Arden, School of Visual Arts, Nina Footwear, New York Eye and Ear, iCrossing, Signature Bank, TheStreet Inc., Sephora and New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Findley received a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. He continued his education at the New York University Real Estate Institute. Findley is also an Eagle Scout, the highest certification attainable in the Boy Scouts of America organization.
