Translattice Executive Management Team:
Frank Huerta is the chief executive officer and a co-founder and has served on the company's board since its inception. He is the former co-founder and CEO of Recourse Technologies, which was purchased by Symantec Corporation for $135M in cash. Mr. Huerta then served as a vice president at Symantec. Most recently, he served as the CEO and co-founder of Cartilix, a medical device company. Mr. Huerta has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree in physics from Harvard University cum laude.
Michael Lyle is the chief technical officer and a co-founder and serves on the company's board. He is responsible for the company's strategic technical direction. Mr. Lyle is a recognized leader in developing new technologies and has considerable experience in networking and distributed systems. Previously, he served as co-founder and CTO of Recourse Technologies, where he led the design and architecture of the company's products. After Symantec acquired Recourse Technologies in 2002, Mr. Lyle was named chief architect at Symantec.
Robert Geiger is the vice president of engineering and a co-founder. He was previously senior director of engineering at Symantec, and director of engineering at Recourse Technologies prior to the acquisition of the company by Symantec in 2002. Mr. Geiger most recently served as vice president of engineering for Mu Dynamics. He has a Masters of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York.
Louise Funke is the vice president of marketing. She has extensive experience at both early-stage start ups and established Fortune 500 companies in the marketing, development and delivery of technology solutions. Ms. Funke previously oversaw technology and product direction at Menlo Worldwide. Most recently, she led multiple product launch teams at Extreme Networks. Ms. Funke has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from U.C. Berkeley.
