Transitions Optical Announces Voting Contest for "Top 10 Sights to See" in Seattle as part of Multi-City "Sightseeing City Tour"

In preparation for the upcoming Seattle stop on its 2012 multi-city tour, Transitions Optical, in conjunction with several national travel experts, including "The Gutsy Traveler" and award-winning author of 11 travel books, Marybeth Bond, has compiled the "Top 25 Sights to See" in Seattle at www.seemoresights.com – and is encouraging travel enthusiasts – tourists and Seattle locals alike – to vote on which of those attractions and things to do and see they think make up the Top 10 Sights to See in the Seattle area. By voting, you will be entered to win an exciting trip for two to New Orleans.

The final Top 10 Sights to See will be revealed at the Seattle event – in conjunction with the Washington Brewers Festival – and videos featuring Marybeth Bond, the "Official Sightseer," sharing additional "insider" information about each of the Sights will be available online following the event.

As the Official Sponsor of Sightseeing, Transitions Optical is planning its Sightseeing City Tour this year with stops in Miami, Dallas, Seattle, Chicago, and New Orleans. Leading up to the Seattle stop, which is taking place on June 15 – 17 as part of the Washington Brewers Festival, Transitions Optical is asking for tourists and Seattle locals to vote on the Top 10 Sights to See which will be revealed in conjunction with the event. In addition to voting for the Top 10 Sights to See, while on-site at the event, Transitions Optical will be inviting attendees to have their photos taken at a kiosk against the scenic background of their choice and to enter their photo into the Sight of the Day Photo Contest for the chance to win a grand prize 10-day trip to the Galapagos Islands. While there, Transitions Optical will distribute materials which include more information about each of the Top 10 Sights to See, healthy vision tips and educational resources and activities for families and coupon offers for eyewear redeemable at select local Pearle Vision locations; as part of the experience, Pearle Vision will also be conducting complimentary vision screenings for adults and children.
