Transit Wireless Adds Sales Leadership and Expands Digital Media Business
Transit Wireless Hires Craig Collins as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development and Amy McLaughlin as General Manager of Wi-Fi Data and Advertising
NEW YORK, April 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Transit Wireless, a leading neutral host wireless infrastructure company, announced the launch of a digital media business, expanding its offerings to provide additional products and services for the existing network in the New York City subway, as well as expand its wireless networks to other large public venues and transit systems. Transit Wireless' Wi-Fi solutions business includes data, advertising, internet of things, offload and other connected initiatives. Transit Wireless has hired Craig Collins as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development and Amy McLaughlin, General Manager of Wi-Fi Data and Advertising, to support the business expansion. Both employees will be leaders of their respective departments and will report directly to Melinda White, CEO of Transit Wireless.

Craig Collins joins the Transit Wireless team as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development to advance business growth strategies for the company. In this role, Craig will work closely with transit authorities to enable the build and delivery of market-leading wireless products and services. Craig will also oversee the launch of 5G and small cell deployment and expand products and services to include Smart City technologies.
Most recently, Craig served as the Senior Vice President, Global Accounts and Strategic Sales at Sungard Availability Services. Craig has more than 25 years of innovative senior leadership experience in IP, cloud, managed services, hosting, IT and communications technologies. He led launches, turnarounds and growth strategies for Fortune 500 communications companies including Time Warner Cable, XO Communications, Frontier Communications, Intermedia, Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic) and AT&T.
Amy McLaughlin, General Manager of Wi-Fi Data and Advertising, joins Transit Wireless to create a new solutions business that leverages the Wi-Fi network. In her role, Amy will use her 20-plus years of experience building and leading the digital media strategy. She has worked in a number of different industries including automotive, tech and consulting at the intersection of data and technology. Prior to joining Transit Wireless, Amy served as Vice President of Data and Analytics at Mastercard, where she developed and led the banking and merchant product divisions.
