HAUPPAUGE, New York, Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TransFirst, a leading provider of transaction processing services and payment enabling technologies, is pleased to announce that its Transaction Express online payment processing system is now optimized for automated clearing house (ACH) processing.
TransFirst continues to enhance its Transaction Express platform; adding support for ACH payments is the next logical step in the progressive build-out of the platform. Among the uses for ACH are business-to-business payments, e-commerce payments, telephone payments and direct debit payments from a checking or savings account. Transaction Express is TransFirst's proprietary payment platform comprised of an IP front end and virtual terminal that provides a complete online payment processing experience for TransFirst's merchants. Accessible through any Internet-connected device, Transaction Express processes Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, American Express® and other major credit card transactions, as well as signature debit card transactions. The ability to process ACH transactions provides merchants with additional functionality within the program's robust processing capabilities.

In addition to current support for all major card payment types, Transaction Express supports recurring billing with tokenization as well as storage of tokenized card and ACH payment data allowing a merchant to manually bill against a stored payment method at any time with the use of a token. Transaction Express affords merchants the ability to utilize an email management system allowing merchants to send customized email receipts to their clients and it provides merchants the ability to create customized reporting defined by the merchant for onscreen review, printing or exporting to a file.
"The addition of ACH capabilities to Transaction Express is part of TransFirst's continuing initiative to provide our customers with a more nimble, customizable and flexible processing experience," says Steve Cadden, TransFirst's COO. "We are committed to further development of technologies like this as a means to maintain control over our business and to reinforce our commitment to our company's and our customers' ongoing growth."
Future enhancements planned for Transaction Express include the addition of mobile payment capabilities through PayFox®, TransFirst's mobile payment application.
