NEW YORK, Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Legal-Bay LLC, The Lawsuit Settlement Funding Company, reported today to their hundreds of trans-vaginal mesh clients that they believe a settlement for most of the manufacturers could be finalized by year end, according to a Bloomberg report.

C.R. Bard Inc., according to the source, is one of the companies who are leading the charge in attempting to wrap up approximately 50K claims in a mammoth global settlement. The other manufactures include: American Medical Systems Inc. AMS, Boston Scientific, Coloplast, and Cook Medical Inc. are reported to be the other makers. One company, which is also the target of thousands of claims, Johnson & Johnson Inc.—and their Ethicon Division—is not a party to the settlement discussions.
Patty Kirby, Head of Client Relations at Legal-Bay commented on the developments, "This certainly signals that good news could be on the way for many of our trans-vaginal mesh clients; however we have warned them that there is still a lot of uncertainty as to if the settlement will develop quickly, what the average mesh settlement amounts will be—and ultimately when they will actually be paid." Legal-Bay believes that many of the Mesh and Bladder Sling Makers are looking to write off the litigation by the end of the 4th quarter and begin making payments "mid to late" 2014.
Legal-Bay has been providing women victims with obtaining a pre-settlement cash advance on their mesh cases even before a settlement has been reached. The non-recourse advance is not a lawsuit loan, so the funds do not need to be paid back unless your case is successful. Based on the recent mesh litigation settlement talks, Legal-Bay expects an influx of mesh lawsuit funding applications to their mesh website at: http://lawsuitssettlementfunding.com/mesh-cases.php
Legal-Bay has also set up a 24 hour toll free hotline for Mesh Lawsuit settlement Funding or if you need assistance finding a transvaginal mesh law firm at 877.571.0405; where live agents can answer any of your mesh litigation questions or by logging on to Legal-Bay's main website at: http://lawsuitssettlementfunding.com.
