Trane Appoints Former Hospital Sr.VP/Chief Administration Officer to Lead Trane's Health Care Solutions Division
MIRAMAR, Fla., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Trane has appointed former Jackson South Hospital CAO Stuart Podolnick, FACHE to lead the Health Care Solutions Division in the South Florida Market.
Trane's Health Care Solutions sector facilitates and delivers environmental systems, controls solutions, and building services which meet the strict temperature and humidity requirements of the micro-environments in hospitals such as surgical suites, emergency rooms, intensive care units and oncology units.
Stuart Podolnick's role will entail him to educate healthcare leaders throughout the South Florida market and introduce solutions for improving their performance by increasing overall efficiency and optimizing the environment of care.
"Having served over 20 years in various senior-level executive roles within the health care industry, I realize the significance of providing the highest quality patient care. Building or operational shortcomings can result in compromised patient outcomes, discomfort, or loss of competitive advantage in the healthcare market, where staff and patients have options," said Podolnick. "My new role within Trane will allow me the opportunity to offer healthcare industry leaders the solutions needed to maintain and improve the healing environment; be it in existing facilities or through new construction or renovations."
Trane's decision to appoint a Health Care Solutions divisional leader was a result of recognizing the high demand of healthcare professionals looking for ways to improve their buildings' performance and efficiency.
According to Trane South Florida's District Manager, Louis Zaccone, "Healthcare executives and facility managers are under extreme pressure to constantly improve their buildings' performance despite tightening budgets and strict regulations, Stuart's role will be to offer the education and solutions needed to meet the market demand." Stuart Podolnick began his new position with Trane on May 4, 2010.
