Trafelet Capital Management Becomes Trafelet Brokaw & Co. as George Brokaw Joins as Managing Partner

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Trafelet Capital Management, a New York-based investment firm with a 14 year track record founded by Remy W. Trafelet, announced today that George R. Brokaw has joined as a Managing Partner. The firm will change its name to Trafelet Brokaw & Co., LLC and its investment manager, Trafelet Brokaw Capital Management, LP, will selectively open to outside capital.

Previously, Mr. Brokaw was a Managing Director at Highbridge Capital Management. Prior to joining Highbridge, he held senior positions at Perry Capital, LLC and Lazard.  Mr. Brokaw is a member of the board of directors of DISH Network Corporation and Alico, Inc.
