SALT LAKE CITY, March 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Ready to sharpen your BBQ skills and grill like a pro? Traeger Shop Class has returned to help people across North America master the art of outdoor cooking.
Traeger Grills, inventor of the original wood pellet grill, has assembled an all-star roster of pitmasters to instruct the grilling community on the vital BBQ and outdoor cooking skills and smoky recipes they need to perfect cooking on their grill. BBQ pros Matt Pittman, Danielle Bennett, Chad Ward, Curtis Nations, Doug Scheiding, Hank Shaw and Jason Stucki will traverse the continent to craft the ultimate outdoor cooking creations and teach classes on how they can do the same.
Each 4-hour outdoor cooking workshop is carefully crafted to demonstrate how to harness the versatility of cooking meat, vegetables, pizza, desserts and even cocktails over wood fire. Two different class options are available: Barbecue Classics, featuring a varied menu from ribs and wood-fired pizza to steak and dessert, and a Meat Master class that tackles all the major proteins. Attendees will learn techniques on how to trim, rub, inject and smoke authentic and delicious barbecue.
Open to cooking enthusiasts of all levels, from novice grillers to competition pitmasters, all attendees will receive interactive instruction on how to grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise and BBQ with wood fire, as well as tips and tricks for preparation, best practices, demonstrations and even a few secret ingredients.
Attendees have the opportunity to experience Traeger's most advanced grill to date, The Timberline, which uses patented WiFIRE® technology to allow users to remotely control their grill from the palm of their hand. The Timberline makes wood-fired cooking more customizable than ever before, unlocking the capability for users to program the grill to remember and repeat cook cycles from anywhere. From prep to finish, attendees will learn the ins-and-outs of The Timberline.
Each Traeger Shop Class includes:
- 3-4 hours of instruction from a pitmaster
- Wood-fired samples cooked by the pros
- A take-home BBQ manual with pitmaster-approved recipes and tips
- Traeger grill swag pack
- Entry to win a Traeger Tailgater grill
Beginning on March 26 and continuing into October, Traeger will take the Shop Class Tour to 30 cities throughout North America, including Dallas; San Jose, California; Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Toronto, Canada.
