Traditional Chinese Fashion Coming to New York

NEW YORK, Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Clothing has long played an important role in Chinese etiquette. Now in its fourth edition, New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television's Global Han Couture Design Competition features original designs that reference the apparel styles of China's Tang, Song and Ming dynasties. Through a selective use of materials, color, accessories and techniques, the designs will allow modern people to appreciate the aesthetics and practicality embedded in ancient Chinese couture.

The winning design entries will be presented in a catwalk show.
