Tradeshow Marketing Company Provides Shareholder Update
SAMMAMISH, WA, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - The Tradeshow Marketing Company, Ltd. (Pink Sheets: TSHO) today published the following statement by its President and CEO, Luniel de Beer:
"It has come to our attention that there may be an intentional attempt to falsely discredit our company, including our recent corporate developments and our overall business plan, through a systematic smear campaign. We have also been made aware of the potential that there may be organized stock shorting activities behind this smear campaign, which may account for the sudden erratic trading in our company's stock.
There are a significant number of inaccuracies within the associated report that are not based on fact, but rather a mosaic of assertions seemingly chosen to support the motives of the parties involved in creating the report. Furthermore, any opinions, estimates or forecasts regarding TSHO's performance made by third parties or independent analysts are theirs alone and have not been provided by the company.
Nonetheless, we take these allegations very seriously because we have spent considerable time to build a reputable and credible company for our shareholders, employees, partners, and customers. We have engaged legal counsel on this matter and we will do everything in our power to rise above this unfortunate and untimely attempt at deprecation and stock manipulation.
I stand firmly behind our company, and running a successful and sustainable business remains my number one priority, and if anything, this event has strengthened my resolve. I believe that we are in one of the strongest positions ever to turn our company into a major player in the As Seen On TV/DRTV industry.
Even though this attempt to discredit us may have been designed to take our eyes off the game for a moment, we are forging ahead with our developments and the negotiations currently in progress to bring new and exciting products to market through our marketing channels. We have identified several new products with phenomenal potential for trade show, DRTV, and retail sales while at the same time solving universal problems with broad appeal in affordable ways. While we cannot disclose the details of these products during review, negotiation, or trademarking and patenting, the inventors and distributors we have engaged with are excited about our current campaign and the potential success our marketing strategy could hold for their products.
Our Ultimate Squeegee DRTV campaign launched this past Monday and has been airing around the country on national and local channels. We expect to have conclusive results from this test run by late next week. The real test for success will come during our second test campaign scheduled to start mid-March. That campaign will be run for a much longer period and will allow us to benefit from a longer short-form infomercial test campaign to stimulate increased interest and excitement about the product.
As CEO, I am focused on creating long-term value for our shareholders that is centered on business performance and financial execution, and I look forward to providing additional updates on our progress."
