Traders Magazine Honors Wall Street Women
November issue shares keys to success and honors women in securities trading
NEW YORK, Oct 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com/) -- At a time when Wall Street is under intense scrutiny, Traders Magazine, a SourceMedia brand, is proud to announce the debut of Wall Street Women, A Celebration of Excellence, designed to honor the women in securities trading who have improved their industry and set the stage for the next generation of female traders.
Traders Magazine, which serves the institutional trading community in print and online at www.Tradersmagazine.com, will honor fifteen female stars and one organization, Deutsche Bank, as part of its program on November 10, 2011, featuring keynote speaker Jeanne Murtaugh. She also served as Vice Chairman Emeritus of BNY ConvergEx Group, LLC.
"Trading has always been a rough-and-tumble game," said Michael Scotti, Traders Magazine's editorial director. "We think it's important to highlight the women who have skillfully navigated this hyper-competitive and male-dominated industry, and recognize them for their achievements."
Since 1967 Traders Magazine has covered the industry, including the advancements of women in the business. "For many years Traders Magazine has profiled women in the industry on aspects of their leadership, technical skills and service to the community. There are so many remarkable women at all levels of this business we want to recognize them on an annual basis. This marks the inaugural year for Wall Street Women, A Celebration of Excellence," said Publisher, Ken Heath.
