Trademark attorney Leticia Guerra Londono joins McDonald Hopkins law firm

MIAMI, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Trademark attorney Leticia (Letty) Guerra Londono has joined the Miami office of McDonald Hopkins as an associate in the firm's Litigation Department.

Londono advises clients on trademark clearance and trademark protection in the United States, manages clients' global intellectual property portfolios, oversees trademark docketing systems, and handles all aspects of trial proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Londono joins McDonald Hopkins from Fleit Gibbons Gutman Bongini & Bianco in Aventura, Florida, where she handled all aspects of trademark matters, including applications and related filings, both domestically and abroad, represented clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, counseled and assisted clients with trademark licensing and infringement matters, and managed clients' global IP portfolios for the firm. She has experience in drafting co-existence and consent agreements, complex assignments, and licensing, trade secret, and non-disclosure agreements. Since 2011, Londono has also taught classes on trademarks and licensing for engineers and entrepreneurs at Florida International University.

Londono earned her J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University and has a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University. She is admitted in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
