TraceFree Solves the Online Privacy Problem
Users can now hide their data from websites and Internet providers
BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- www.tracefree.com - announces the launch of TraceFree, the world's first virtual private browser.
This technology leapfrogs, and will ultimately replace a virtual private network (VPN) because while using TraceFree, websites, including Google, cannot correctly identify users, and every browsing session is always virus free.
Consumers are being misled into thinking that using a VPN will keep them private and secure online. A VPN only hides browsing from the user's provider but still allows a website to interact with the user's device. This means they can still be identified, tracked and compromised. In addition, all browsing evidence is left on the device.
TraceFree is a browser that runs in the cloud and not on the user's device. All browsing evidence (cookies, viruses, malware and history) stays on the server in the cloud and is deleted on logout. Websites never interact with the user's device.
Several financial institutions and the Department of Defense are now adopting cloud browsers as a way to protect their networks.
TraceFree offers the security of a cloud browser but protects the user's privacy as well.
While TraceFree solves the online privacy problem, it also creates a massive problem for the $200 billion online advertising industry (source). Web analytic services will no longer be reliable and website owners cannot retarget a visitor on their site.
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, the company is launching the Windows OS version of TraceFree. The Mac OS version is coming soon.
For the first time in Web browsing history a user can:
- Hide their identity, device and location
- Completely hide their browsing from their Internet provider
- Use Google, or any search engine, with complete privacy
- Receive unbiased news
- Surf virus free
- Leave no browsing evidence on device
"For the first time ever online, a TraceFree user has the power over Big Tech, by finally having the choice of Opting-In, versus always trying to figure out how to Opt-Out.."..from the book Online Privacy Secrets Revealed. (source)
