Trace3 President and CIO Chad Cardenas Earns Prestigious British American Business Award (BABA)
Innovators Named by Orange County Chapter of the British American Business Council
IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Orange County Chapter of the British American Business Council has named Chad Cardenas, Trace3 President and Chief Innovation Officer, as a winner of the 2015 British American Business Awards (BABA) for Innovation.
Cardenas was honored by the British American Business Council in a BABA awards ceremony dinner at Hotel Irvine on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The awards were created to recognize Orange County business executives who demonstrate exemplary leadership in technology innovation.
As Chief Innovation Officer, Cardenas oversees the innovation programs at Trace3, a pioneer in digital business transformations. He has developed several core functions for the company, including Trace3's market research and VC briefing programs.
Cardenas also leads high profile customer events such as the annual Trace3 Client Advisory Board and Evolve leadership conference. He has built several service offerings tailored exclusively to the needs and challenges of CIO clients, who increasingly seek a business transformation partner rather than a traditional VAR or systems integrator.
"I feel honored for Trace3 to be recognized by the British American Business Council for this esteemed award," Cardenas said. "We will channel this momentum into helping our CIO clients navigate the fast-paced technology landscape to achieve their business aspirations."
Other 2015 BABA recipients included Colin Baden, Chief Innovation Officer and Product Officer, Oakley, Inc.; Ramesh Nair, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Ingram Micro; and Jon Storbeck, Vice President-Hotels and Downtown Disney at The Disneyland Resort.
The BABA awards ceremony featured David Pyott, the former Chairman and CEO of Allergan, as the keynote speaker; and moderator Rick Reiff, TV host for the "SoCal Insider with Rick Reiff" program on PBS SoCal (KOCE-TV) and executive editor of the Orange County Business Journal.
