TRACE introduces improvements to its professional accreditation program for anti-bribery compliance specialists
ANNAPOLIS, Md., Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TRACE, the globally recognized anti-bribery compliance organization, today introduced improvements to TASA: TRACE Anti-Bribery Specialist Accreditation ® including new course content and specializations. TASA, originally developed in 2011, is a comprehensive and rigorous year-long training and accreditation program that offers a professional credential for anti-bribery compliance specialists.
TASA features more than 100 courses taught by a world-renowned and diverse faculty of industry and subject matter experts. The accreditation is awarded by TRACE.
The TASA program has been designed by subject-matter experts to provide candidates with practical, real-word insights and a certificate of accreditation that will enable graduates to set themselves apart from their colleagues. After completing the fundamental and advanced courses, candidates have the option to pursue optional specializations in a myriad of industries, regions and subject matters.
TASA candidates are provided access to an extensive library of pre-recorded courses. Additionally, live TASA webinars are scheduled several times throughout the year, providing insight into current anti-bribery compliance topics and challenges.
TASA is backed by an advisory committee comprised of leading anti-bribery compliance experts across industries including technology, defense and food and beverage.
"I am delighted to be part of the TASA advisory committee," said Adrian D. Mebane, Deputy General Counsel and VP, Global Commercial & Supply Chain at The Hershey Company. "This program provides compliance professionals with access to high quality content and a unique accreditation that serves as a competitive advantage in this growing industry."
"TASA is an opportunity for anti-bribery compliance professionals or those in related fields to distinguish themselves with a meaningful professional credential," said TRACE President Alexandra Wrage. "TASA is also designed as an advanced training course for in-house compliance executives."
