TPRF Video Invites Worldwide Participation in Peacemaking
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In honor of the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, 2014, The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) released Citizens of the Earth, a short video that now has over 259,000 views on YouTube. The purpose of this video is to encourage worldwide individual participation in bringing peace to the world we live in today and will soon be handing over to the next generation.
Based on TPRF founder Prem Rawat's message of peace, the 1.43-minute video asks provocative questions, such as: "What does it mean to be human?" "What does it mean to be alive?" and "When was the last time you were in love with your life?"
A child's voice continues, "Because when you are in love with your life, with your existence, that's when you begin to respect other people's existence.
"This is not the case in the world today. This needs to change. And that fundamental change doesn't begin with the world out there. It begins with every single human being on the face of this earth."
Citizens of the Earth was shown as part of hundreds of Peace Day events in North and South America and Europe.
The Prem Rawat Foundation is dedicated to advancing peace in the world by sponsoring events for the exploration of individual peace and making its Peace Education Program (PEP) available in communities on 6 continents.
