TPN Builds Team in Bentonville, Ark., Office; Led by John Meyer as Managing Director
BENTONVILLE, Ark., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynamic retail marketing agency TPN is expanding its team in Bentonville, Ark., spearheaded by the addition of John Meyer to lead the office as managing director, in addition to hiring Eleonora Lawson as account supervisor and Courtney Dobb as account executive.
Meyer brings senior-level experience in shopper marketing, new product development and a proven track record of successful go-to-market merchandising strategies for CPG companies. A 12-year resident of the Bentonville area, he specializes in Walmart business strategy and retail activation, and in understanding the barriers and drivers that shoppers experience.
For TPN, Meyer will lead the growing team in its focus to deliver dynamic retail marketing for existing Walmart business, as well as focusing on generating new business opportunities for the agency.
"John's leadership and roots within the Bentonville community are a tremendous asset for TPN as we focus on helping brands succeed at the nation's largest retailer," said Sharon Love, TPN chief executive officer. "John intimately understands the needs of retailers of all sizes and how to create executable programs that not only appeal to Walmart, but will deliver a strong return on investment."
Before coming to TPN, John was senior vice president of Integrated Marketing at AMG, the marketing division of Acosta Sales & Marketing. There, he led the Bentonville office servicing clients such as Starbucks, Georgia Pacific, Heinz, and Pinnacle Foods. Prior to AMG, Meyer was managing director of the Bentonville office at Omnicom agency, TracyLocke.
"I have all the respect in the world for Walmart – what they do, how they go to market and how they help their suppliers succeed," said Meyer. "I look forward to working with the talented TPN team to build a stronger presence in Bentonville, and applying TPN's dynamic retail strategies with Walmart and CPG clients."
Like Meyer, Lawson and Dobbs also joined TPN from Integrated Marketing at AMG.
