NEW YORK, May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Graham is pleased to announce that Townsend Bell, driver of the No. 6 Robert Graham - KV Racing Technology Chervolet/Dallara/Firestone entry, will wear a specially designed firesuit during the 2014 Indianapolis 500. In addition, Townsend Bell's car and crew uniforms will feature the brand's signature design components.
"We are honored to outfit world-class driver Townsend Bell with Robert Graham-designed elements for his race car, firesuit and pit crew for the 2014 Indianapolis 500," said Robert Stock, Founder of Robert Graham. "By infusing the brand color DNA, he will create a visual statement of impact as he races to the finish line at blistering speed."
The firesuit highlights the Robert Graham logo on the chest, back, collar, midsection, shoulders and right leg. The primary color of the suit is white with black racing stripes and inset lines of the brand's vibrant color splash on the interior neckband, shoulders, inner arms, torso and inseams. The No. 6 Robert Graham - KV Racing Technology Chervolet/Dallara/Firestone entry features a solid black paint scheme juxtaposed with the dominant color splash of Robert Graham and the brand's logo prominently displayed on the hood, sides and spoiler of the car. The brand has also invited a special group of Robert Graham Collectors for an exclusive weekend experience at the 2014 Indianapolis 500. The weekend will kickoff with a private dinner hosted by the brand and Townsend Bell on Saturday, May 24, 2014. During the dinner celebration, invitees will experience a live painting of Bell's car by motionsports artist Bill Patterson. Robert Graham invitees will then be treated to a VIP view of the race from a private suite, which is directly above the pit lane and has rooftop terrace allowing for a near 360 degree viewing of the track on Sunday, May 25, 2014. Guests of the brand will have the opportunity meet others drivers and will be gifted a limited edition Indianapolis 500 sport shirt similar to the design of Townsend Bell's firesuit with iconic imagery of past races on the back.
