Tourico Holidays® Launching Vacation Home Rentals

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Tourico Holidays® announced today that it is introducing a new vacation home rental program unlike any other in the travel industry. Offering a wide range of properties that includes more than 10,000 vacation properties in the U.S. and Central America and more than 40,000 in Europe, this new service will feature real-time inventory and automatic confirmation of reservations, so the process will be similar to that of booking a hotel room. The program will launch in early December 2010 with European product added throughout the first quarter of 2011.

The vacation homes vary in style and include stand-alone houses, villas, apartment units and condominiums. Importantly, each of the properties is booked through professional management companies, so travelers will not have to concern themselves with the many uncertainties that often come with booking rental homes through individual property owners.

The properties in the U.S. and Central America are located in 35 destinations, including the Gulf Shores in Alabama; multiple ski resort towns in Colorado, California and Utah (including Vail, Aspen, Park City and Lake Tahoe); the beaches of Hawaii; and warm-weather destinations in Florida (including Orlando), South Carolina, Mexico, and Costa Rica; among others.

The vacation homes in Europe will include properties in coastal and countryside settings in Britain and Ireland, as well as everything from secluded forest lodges that are ideal for romantic getaways to homes near theme parks for family holidays.
