MET-Rx Becomes the Exclusive Protein Bar Sponsor for Tough Mudder Events in U.S., Canada, and U.K.
BROOKLYN, N.Y., April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tough Mudder, the premier adventure challenge series in the world, announces today that MET-Rx Nutrition Inc. ("MET-Rx") is the exclusive protein bar sponsor for its events in the U.S., Canada and U.K. over the next two years.
As part of the partnership, the sports nutrition company will fuel participants taking on "Probably the Toughest Event on the Planet" at more than 40 locations this year alone. MET-Rx will also have a dedicated obstacle – "Balls to the Wall," a rope climb over a 15-foot vertical wall – on courses in the U.S.

To provide Tough Mudder participants with the energy to tackle signature Tough Mudder obstacles like "Everest" – a greased-up quarter-pipe – and "Electroshock Therapy" – a gauntlet of 10,000-volt-charged dangling wires – MET-Rx will provide more than one million samplings of its Big 100 and Colossal bars on site.
