Brand Ambassadors Will Be Handing Out Gluten Free Pita Chips to Encourage American's to Vote During Crunch Time!

NEW YORK and MIAMI, Nov. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Toufayan Bakeries, one of the largest family-owned commercial bakeries in America will be voting with you on November 8^th. Brand ambassadors will be dressed in Uncle Sam costumes, handing out more than 8,000 samples of the brands Gluten Free Pita Chips near polling booths in the streets of New York City and Miami during Crunch Time, encouraging consumers to get out and vote. In New York, ambassadors will be walking around Union Square Park from 7 am to 11 am. In Miami, ambassadors will also be present in the downtown area.

"Encouraging Americans to vote is not about the candidates, it's about making Americans understand just how important their vote is," said Karen Toufayan, Director of Marketing at Toufayan Bakeries. "Everyone should be able to voice his or her own opinion because every voice matters!"

Toufayan has partnered with WNBC 4 and 95.5 PLJ in New York and Miami's Power 96 to let consumers know about the event and where the brand ambassadors will be located. They will be hard to miss in their bright, red, white and blue suits. PLJ's Annie will have an on-site appearance the morning of voting day at 10 am. DJ Cato will be calling in live from and sampling on the streets of Miami throughout the event.

Consumers will receive a $1 off coupon with a bag of chips and will be able to share photos on Instagram with the Ambassadors using the hashtag #CrunchTimeVote. Five winners will be chosen to win a years supply of pita chips.
