Total Wine & More Presents: Discover Washington

POTOMAC, Md., March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Total Wine & More, America's largest independent retailer of fine wine, beer and spirits, proudly presents Discover Washington: a series of tastings and classroom events featuring celebrated Washington State wine, beer and spirits. Discover Washington will be held at select Arizona, Maryland, South Carolina and Washington State store locations. Taking place March 9th through March 23rd, these fun and flavorful events will feature 680 tastings and classroom events, showcasing over 386 wines, 190 beers, and 21 spirits!

Washington wine is produced from grape varieties grown specifically in the state and ranks 2nd in the United States in the production of wine. There are 146 active breweries and 27 local distilleries. Attendees will enjoy a vast selection of delectable fine wines, premium beers and one-of-a-kind liquors at tasting stations and classroom events led by some of Washington's oldest and prominent wineries, breweries and distilleries.
