SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Total Brain, provider of the world's first brain performance monitoring and training platform, announced today that it is partnering with focus@will, a music service based on human neuroscience, to offer 3-month trials of its digital service to focus@will's 1.5 million registered users. During each trial, the partnership will enable a focus@will user to objectively assess the impact of the focus@will service on all 12 of their brain capacity markers - including the focus marker, screen for mental disorders and avail themselves of brain training to improve areas of weakness and optimize areas of strength. At the end of the free trial period, focus@will users will have the option to continue using the Total Brain service for a monthly fee.
Powered by a scientifically validated digital brain assessment and by the largest standardized neuroscientific database in the world, Total Brain helps individuals assess, rank, screen and train their emotion, feeling, cognition and self-control capacities. Focus@will uses the brain-shaping features of sound to keep users' minds from avoiding two undesirable states: distraction and habituation. The system makes it faster and easier for users to concentrate by tapping into the broad impact of sound on neural circuitry across the brain. When used together, the services will offer more insight into how a user's brain is performing, and more options for mitigating challenges and exploiting strengths.
Focus@will founder and CEO, Will Henshall said,"We are thrilled to partner with Total Brain to offer our users a deeper understanding of their brains, and more recourse for improving their brain capacities, including their ability to focus, which has been a key objective of our service since its launch."
"In today's hyper connected world, our brains are hacked by a constant flow of information delivered on mobile devices. This makes it harder for most individuals to focus on tasks, think straight and develop meaningful social connections. For others, it can exacerbate underlying mental conditions like depression and anxiety," said Louis Gagnon, CEO of Total Brain."We are pleased to offer a free trial of our platform to focus@will's users, enabling them to monitor their brain performance and avail themselves of more tools to combat these challenges."
The trial offer will be available to focus@will users beginning in Q4.
