CHICAGO, March 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion brand TORRID, the ultimate destination for stylish young women sizes 12 to 28, announced today the opening of its flagship in the heart of The Loop on State Street, Chicago's historic shopping district. The 3,000 sq. ft. store will debut with a Grand Opening event open to the public, hosted by fashion stylist and TV personality George Kotsiopoulos, on Wednesday, April 8, from Noon–5pm.

This celebration marks the opening of Torrid's tenth store in Chicago, a testament to the brand's success empowering women of all sizes to "wear what you love" with no apologies. Torrid will soon be taking its sexy, edgy apparel and body-positive message coast to coast, with up to 60 new stores opening across the country this year.

Among the festivities at the Grand Opening celebration, two lucky winners will be styled in head-to-toe Torrid by George Kotsiopoulos, who is best known for his charming yet honest critiques on E!'s Fashion Police and dressing Hollywood A-Listers, including Melissa McCarthy, Kerry Washington and Zooey Deschanel.
