Top Sex Crimes Prosecutor Lisa Friel to Join T&M

NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- T&M Protection Resources, LLC, a global security and investigations firm headquartered in New York City, announced today that veteran prosecutor Lisa M. Friel will be leaving the Manhattan District Attorney's office in October to join T&M.

Ms. Friel, an internationally recognized expert in sex crimes prosecutions, will head a new division at T&M that will provide sexual assault education, consulting and investigative services with a primary focus on colleges and universities.  These services can also be tailored to serve sports franchises and corporations.

Ms. Friel will join T&M following an extensive 28-year career as a prosecutor, specializing in sex crimes cases.  Prior to joining T&M, Ms. Friel had been the Chief of the Manhattan District Attorney's Sex Crimes Prosecution Unit, a position she held for nearly a decade. She has managed the prosecution of thousands of criminal cases, helped convict serial rapists and killers, trained hundreds of law enforcement agencies and helped the New York State Legislature toughen laws against sexual predators and establish a state DNA databank.
