Top Nashville Communicators Recognized at 2017 Music City Gold Pen Awards and IABC International's Gold Quill Awards
NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Nashville Chapter hosted its 2017 Music City Gold Pen Awards on May 18 at Noah Liff Opera Center in Nashville. WSMV-TV Channel 4 News' Alanna Autler presented awards in 25 categories to area professionals and agencies for their top communication projects. Award winners at this year's event, which were sponsored by The Creative Group, a Robert Half Company, and area photographer Bernadette Rudy, represented a range of industries, from agencies to education and healthcare. MP&F Public Relations took home numerous awards for their work in community relations, publications, media relations, digital communications and special events. Other winners included:

Ingram Barge Company's creative services team, which is led by IABC Board Member Lysa Rigo, also received a Gold Quill Award from IABC International at the 2017 Gold Quill Awards event in Washington, D.C., on June 13. Their entry was one of eight, and the only U.S. company to win a 2017 Award of Excellence in Internal Communications for their plan and execution of taking the remote and non-connected portion of their associate base through a digital annual survey process.
