Top Lie Detection Expert Says Robert Wagner "Has Something To Hide" About His Involvement In Natalie Wood's Death In Final Chapter Of Acclaimed Podcast Series "Fatal Voyage: The Mysterious Death Of Natalie Wood"
The 12-part audio documentary series, which has carried out the most comprehensive independent examination of the 1981 death of Natalie Wood, ends with a damning indictment of Robert J. Wagner. Shocking new evidence suggests Wagner hasn't been truthful about what took place when the Oscar winner mysteriously vanished from her yacht The Splendour.
NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Wagner lied during an explosive run-in with Natalie Wood's still-grieving sibling, Lana, according to top lie detection expert, Mike Sylvestre. Sylvestre, a world-renowned certified voice stress analyst whose proprietary DecepTech instrument is recognized as the most advanced method for detecting honesty in a human's voice, worked with producers of podcast series "Fatal Voyage: The Mysterious Death Of Natalie Wood" to analyze an exclusive audio clip which was published during Chapter 12 of the true crime series produced by American Media.
Sylvestre said when Wagner, "talked about murdering her [during the showdown with Lana] there was a significant amount of deception when he responded, 'murdering her.'"
Lana's face-to-face showdown with Wagner, recorded by the production team for "Fatal Voyage", was fed through the DecepTech machine, which is utilized by 50-plus law-enforcement agencies across the U.S. and even more overseas. Each of Wagner's words were analyzed for lies and equivocation.
According to Sylvestre findings, "Wagner knows that this is all about what happened to Natalie and he's not answering those direct questions. I mean, he has something to hide."
Sylvestre's DecepTech instrument works by analyzing a person's voice for tremors imperceptible to the human ear, alone. These tremors indicate stress and truthfulness. The machine then produces a wave graph that indicates when a subject is lying, and when they are telling the truth.
Wood mysteriously vanished from the yacht, The Splendour, during a pleasure cruise on Thanksgiving weekend in 1981. Aboard was her husband, Wagner, her "Brainstorm" costar, Christopher Walken, and the ship's captain, Dennis Davern. Her death was initially ruled an accidental drowning, although in 2011 the case was reopened. In 2013, a supplemental autopsy report changed her cause of death to drowning and other undetermined factors. Earlier this year, Wagner was officially named a person of interest in the case.
