NEW YORK, Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tapad, the leader in unified, cross-screen technology, has announced the appointment of Isaac Payam Ahdout as SVP Engineering. Ahdout comes to Tapad with more than 10 years experience at Google and Microsoft. He starts immediately and reports to Tapad Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder Dag Liodden.
An experienced engineering lead, Ahdout will work closely with Liodden to further advance the New York-based development team, lauded as the first to crack the code on unified, cross-screen marketing technology in 2010.
"Tapad's engineering team is among the best in the world," said Liodden. "Isaac is a great addition – capable of holding his own in any hack, driven to innovate, and dedicated to helping his teams do the same. He'll be key to help us continue to scale our engineering organization."
For the last four years, Ahdout was Engineering Manager for Google DoubleClick for Publishers. There, he managed a team of developers for Google's display advertising platform. His work helped combine Google Ad Manager and DoubleClick's DFP into a single codebase, making improvements through the stack that drove revenue and reduced costs for publishers.
Ahdout began his career with Google in 2007 as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, he spent three years with Microsoft working on client-side software & firmware for Microsoft FlexGo, with an emphasis on software and hardware security, algorithms, cryptography, systems software, secure protocol design, and UX. Ahdout is the co-inventor for six patents and has another six patents pending. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Columbia University.
