Ely (Pompano Beach, Fla.) and Irmo (Columbia, S.C.) Crack Super 25 for First Time
MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The top 10 teams remain unchanged from last week in the USA TODAY High School Sports Super 25 national editorial rankings for boys basketball for the week of Jan.14, 2013.

The USA TODAY High School Sports Super 25 rankings appear in today's print edition of USA TODAY Sports and are also available online at USA TODAY High School Sports (www.usatodayhss.com).
The USA TODAY High School Sports Super 25 is now in its 30th year as the most prestigious high school ranking platform in the nation. Gatorade is the Official Fuel of the Super 25 rankings platform, which includes computer rankings of every major high school football, baseball, boys and girls basketball, and boys and girls lacrosse team in the nation.
No. 1 Findlay College Prep (Henderson, Nev.) once again remains the top-ranked team in the Super 25 at 21-0 after adding three more decisive wins in the past week: a 65-45 defeat of Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), a 55-34 victory over Melrose (Memphis), and a 55-36 win over Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Montverde (Fla.) Academy remains No. 2 at 18-0, followed by No. 3 Whitney Young (Chicago) with a 13-1 record. Huntington (W.Va) Prep maintained its No. 4 ranking after defeating Alice Lloyd College JV (Pippa Passes, Ky.), 85-41, and Cape Henry (Virginia Beach), 70-49.
Lone Peak (Highland, Utah) remains No. 5, followed by No. 6 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), No. 7 St. Anthony (Jersey City), No. 8 La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.), No. 9 Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, Calif.), and No. 10 Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.).
Previously unranked Ely (Pompano Beach, Fla.) debuted at No. 20 in this week's Super 25, thanks in part to a 72-60 defeat of Deerfield Beach behind Darrion Allen's 27 points that raised Ely's record to 15-1.
In addition to Ely, another previously unranked team made its first appearances in this week's poll. Irmo (Columbia, S.C.) cracked the list at No. 25 after the Yellowjackets defeated Richland Northeast, 42-34, as Quiron Cooke had 15 points.
