ToolsGroup Wins Supply Chain Awards for Customer Successes at Hoganas and Cipla Medpro

BOSTON, Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ToolsGroup was recently named a "Great Supply Chain Partner" by SupplyChainBrain and also one of Supply & Demand Chain Executive's (SDCE) "100 Great Supply Chain Projects".  Both awards were given for recent customer successes, at Hoganas and Cipla Medpro.

SupplyChainBrain's 100 Great Supply Chain Partners were decided following a six-month on-line poll in which supply chain professionals were asked to nominate vendors whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company's efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance. Winners were selected from hundreds of supply chain management trading partners. The theme of this year's report was "Strengthening your global network".

In keeping with the theme, ToolsGroup's customer Hoganas was recognized for going live with a collaborative demand modeling and forecasting system in 85 countries in only seven months. The system, built with ToolsGroup's SO99+ and Demand Collaboration Hub software, supports Hoganas' new S&OP process, has sped up reporting by at least 25 percent, and is on track to support the company's goals to reduce inventory by ten percent across the board.
