ToolsGroup Expands Product Management Team Adding New Roles and Executives

MILAN and BOSTON, June 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ToolsGroup today announced new executive appointments to expand its product management organization in both Europe and North America to meet growing demand for its 'powerfully simple' supply chain planning software.

Enrico Liverani takes over as Global Director of Product Management, a new position reporting to the CEO. Enrico and his team manage the product evolution of the software portfolio, including areas such as the user experience and extended SI&OP (Sales Inventory & Operations Planning). The role includes managing the product lifecycle and coordinating with ToolsGroup's Chief Scientist and its Chief Technology Officer.

New to ToolsGroup, Enrico brings two decades of experience in development, consulting and implementation support for enterprise software. He has directed large teams at Deloitte Consulting and Oracle, and has deep domain knowledge in software products for operations.  

The product management organization has added the new role of Knowledge Manager, filled by ToolsGroup veteran Gabriele Costetti. Gabriele will be responsible for managing a common knowledge database for ToolsGroup employees, partners and customers. He will consolidate company knowledge and operating procedures using new tools and processes.

In North America, Girish Bakshi has been promoted to the role of Senior Solution Architect. This is a leadership role in the North American organization designed to help new and existing clients maximize ToolsGroup's SO99+ footprint for maximum advantage. Girish will play a lead implementation architect role, designing and defining the development and roll-out strategies to support client business objectives.
