ToolsGroup and LLamasoft Ally for Supply Chain Optimization and Planning

BOSTON and ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ToolsGroup and LLamasoft today announced a new strategic alliance to bring their complementary best-in-class supply chain optimization and planning solutions to the market.

Both companies are seen as innovators and leaders in their respective fields, with LLamasoft focusing on supply chain design and ToolsGroup on supply chain planning. This new alliance will help both companies provide their customers with a wider range of solutions to fit their specific supply chain optimization requirements and provide clients an increased ability to operationalize Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) decisions.

One joint customer who is already deploying both companies' software at a single client site is Optilon, a partner in Scandinavia to both ToolsGroup and LLamasoft.
